Why have a Facebook group rather than another platform?
When deciding on a hosting platform, we decided to use Facebook Groups to kick off our new program and host our new community. As the program grows, we do plan to move our community over to SKOOL, which will work essentially like a Facebook Group, just not on social media.
How do I learn music without private lessons?
How do I learn music without private lessons?
We understand that not everyone necessarily *needs* the 1:1 time, but they want to learn music and have a community in which to learn music. While there is no 1:1 time included with the program, you still have ways to receive direct instruction from the teacher, which includes the following ways to receive feedback on your progress and ask the instructor for feedback and some instruction.
Texting/messaging and video calling your instructor throughout the month with quick questions
Attending or watching our group calls that includes time at the end to ask questions about progress on your instrument and music.
Join office hours where you can get direct help from the teachers as you need for songs, technique, whatever you need.
If I want a book or music that is not in your library, can we request music or books?
If I want a book or music that is not in your library, can we request music or books?
If you're wanting a book or music that is not in our library, you can request or suggest it be added. Keep in mind that if it is popular music, or something that is copy written, the answer will most likely be no, but we will send you some links you can check out to purchase the music yourself.
How do I switch from one plan to another, or how do I cancel if needed?
How do I switch from one plan to another, or how do I cancel if needed?
If you would like to switch from monthly to annual, or vise-versa, reach out directly and we will make the switch happen on the back end so on your next billing cycle, you will see the change. You are welcome to switch to any plans at any time.
Likewise, if you need to cancel, you can also let us know and we will terminate your membership. Keep in mind, no refunds are provided if you want to leave before your billing cycle. You an ask us if you need to know your billing cycle.
